A Place Called Darnell - a photoset on Flickr. This set of photos my mom posted show the small town of Darnell, Ohio, and the house my grandmother, now in her late 80’s, grew up in. The house is still occupied. My grandmother wrote and published a book concerning the history of Darnell and her memories of growing up there last year. Her efforts recently culminated in a plaque being placed in front of the home marking it as the home of the founder of Darnell in 1880.
